Trying to hook up with Steve and Marilynn Felt Forsyth in Virginia. Lynne has had a revisit of this dreadful flu so travel is minimal. Coupled with very slow bandwidth even keeping family informed is compromised. As a point of reference, weather here is typical Melbourne / Hobart pre-wintery - wet, windy, cold. Yet, despite the conditions, the spring blossoms are still seen an so very beautiful.

Dallas TX with Robert and Katherine Felt Family
What a delight!! Not only the final leg of this journey with The Boys, yet again hooking up with our children and grandchildren after so many years.

Disney Land
Every visit to the USA needs a visit to an icon. In this case, Disneyland or specifically California Land at Disney Park. The boys arrived mid afternoon on Day 1 and bingo before any jet lag could be felt, they were going mad at Disney Park.
The movies and images below are just a few captured. At the end, Nan was in her electric scooter still energized, grandpa walked and "rode out", and as for the Kayrooz Boys, we were dragging the sleeping Liam and both just collapsed into bed for a long long long sleep for tomorrow - early flight the San Francisco.
Best cure for jet lag ever!

The streets below are 'real' yet the end of the street is a backdrop - clever.

San Franciso and surrounds
Our first stop after wearing the boys out at Disneyland (the very day after they arrived from Australia), was San Franciso. Lynne was creative in selecting the room for our stay - view was priceless (tried to upload a videio without success)
Our first stop after checking in was Lombard Crooked Street.
The steep, hilly street was created with sharp curves to switchback down the one-way hill past beautiful Victorian mansions.
If not for the byzantine curves, easing out this treacherous slope, people could be killed rolling down.

Ghirardelli Chocolates - A Must
Those who know Lynne will know the above is a landmark for which any one of importance should not miss - so it was with us - TWICE
Muir Woods - Giant Redwooods - Sausalito
This enthralling half-day trip took across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Area's most popular national monument and the prettiest village in California and back to see the fog over the bay.
